Traditional Welsh Rarebit

Traditional Welsh Rarebit

Traditional Welsh Rarebit is a classic British dish that consists of a savory cheese sauce served over toasted bread. The cheese sauce is typically made from a strong, flavorful cheese like Cheddar, mixed with ingredients such as ale or beer, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and butter.
The mixture is melted and combined until smooth, then poured over slices of toasted bread and grilled until bubbly and golden brown. Welsh Rarebit is often served as a comforting snack, light lunch, or appetizer, known for its rich, tangy, and satisfying flavors.
