Mini Rolls with Melted Camembert are a delicious and indulgent appetizer or snack. Small, soft bread rolls are filled with chunks of creamy Camembert cheese. The rolls are then baked until the cheese melts and becomes gooey, while the bread turns golden and crispy on the outside. The result is a delightful combination of warm, melted cheese and fresh, soft bread. These mini rolls are perfect for serving at parties, as a starter, or as a comforting treat.
Preheat the oven to 250°C (th.8-9). Take small pieces of dough about the size of a walnut and roll them between your palms. Arrange them around the inner edge of an oiled pie dish.
Brush the dough with milk using a pastry brush, then sprinkle with pecorino. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the dough balls are well risen and lightly golden.
Unwrap and remove the top rind of the Camembert. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems. Place the Camembert in the center of the bread rolls. Sprinkle with thyme and season with pepper. Bake for 5 minutes.
Strip the parsley leaves from the stems and chop them. Sprinkle the melted Camembert with parsley after removing from the oven. Serve the hot rolls with the baked Camembert in the center.
