Ingredients
  

  • 8.8 oz Ground beef
  • 10 Cannelloni tubes
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 Egg
  • 3.5 oz Ricotta
  • 2.8 oz Grated Parmesan
  • 17.6 oz Canned peeled tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel the garlic cloves. Preheat the oven to 356°F (th.6).

  • Blanch the cannelloni in boiling water, drain, and carefully place them on a clean cloth.

  • Cook the onion and 1 chopped garlic clove in a pan over low heat. Chop the tomatoes into large pieces and add them to the pan with the bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper and let simmer for 30 minutes. Lightly blend and set aside the sauce.

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the egg, ricotta, and the remaining chopped garlic clove. Season with salt and pepper and stuff the halved cannelloni with this mixture.

  • Spread half of the tomato sauce in a baking dish, arrange the cannelloni vertically. Cover them with the remaining tomato sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake for 40 minutes.
