Indian-Style Hamburger
Ingredients
- 4 Burger buns
- 14 oz Ground veal
- 3.5 oz Fromage blanc
- 0.5 Cucumber
- 2 Leaves of Batavia lettuce
- 1 Red onion
- 1 White onion
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 tsp Curry powder
- 2 tsp Ground cumin
- 2 tsp Ground coriander
- 0.5 Bunch of fresh coriander
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Mix the meat with the peeled and chopped white onion and garlic. Add 1 tsp of curry powder, cumin, ground coriander, salt, and pepper. Form 4 meat patties and refrigerate.
- Mix the fromage blanc with chopped fresh coriander and the remaining curry powder.
- Cook the meat patties for 5 minutes in a non-stick pan. Toast the burger buns. Peel the cucumber and red onion and slice them thinly. Rinse and chop the Batavia lettuce leaves.
- Spread the curry sauce on the bottom of the buns. Add some lettuce, the meat patty, more sauce, cucumber slices, and red onion. Close the burger with the top bun and serve immediately.
