Bolognese Stuffed Cannelloni
Ingredients
- 12 No-boil cannelloni
- 5.3 oz Ground beef
- 5.3 oz Sausage meat
- 1 Onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 0.5 Bunch of chives
- 2 Sprigs of thyme
- 1 Bay leaf
- 5.3 oz Bechamel sauce
- 5.3 oz Canned peeled tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Peel and finely chop the garlic and onion. Sauté them in a wok with a bit of oil for 5 minutes. Add the ground beef and sausage meat, then the tomato paste, peeled tomatoes, thyme, and bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce. Let it simmer for 30 minutes over low heat. Set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 356°F (th.6).
- Stuff the cannelloni with the meat mixture. Spread the reserved 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce at the bottom of a baking dish, place the cannelloni on top, cover with the béchamel sauce, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Before serving, wash and chop the chives, then sprinkle them over the dish.
